Saudi Arabia’s banking sector continued to grow in July, with total assets reaching SR5.75 trillion ($1.5 trillion), according to the latest figures from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).
Banking assets increased 0.27% from SR5.73 trillion in June and were 6.71% higher than the SR5.38 trillion recorded in July 2025, SAMA’s monthly statistical bulletin showed.
The figures extend a period of expansion for the kingdom’s banks, driven in particular by increased lending to businesses and other private-sector borrowers.
